The most important step in receiving the tattoo is take care until it is healing. There are some instructions of care.

Up to twenty four hours keep bandage to the tattoo area.
Don’t put scabs and avoid touching the tattoos part.
Use a spongy towel to waterless, wash tattoo with an antiseptic soap and don’t rub it
If your skin is not allergic then rub some antinibiotic ointment on the tattooed area and also do not use jelly of petrol.
If your skin gets swell and any redness put an ice piece on the swelling area
Always keep your tattoo away from sunlight.
